I don't agree with the assumption they will have to pay anything to get out of the lawsuit. People file stupid lawsuits all the time and you can't just call up the court and say "hey this don't make no sense" and expect that its going to be dismissed.

There is a whole process to this thing and it begins with discovery which is basically both sides requesting information from the other. Once that information is received you MAY be able to make enough of a case to get the case dismissed by the judge with a motion for summary judgement. Otherwise you may have to wait for more info via things like depositions, Expert analysis/reports, etc. At any point money can be offered in exchange for the pltf dismissing the suit but this does not have to be an inevitability especially if UWRL did nothing wrong and legally owes no damages.

Synopsis: Just because there is a lawsuit doesn't mean anything is owed, it doesn't mean anything was done wrong by the current operators of UWRL, and it isn't something that can quickly just be resolved. If a judge decides he doesn't want to look at or rule or maybe just convey his ruling to the parties he really doesn't have to within any certain time. For all we know there is a motion out there to dismiss the suit for XXXX reason but the judge just hasn't ruled on it yet.

Lets not get too ahead of ourselves by trying to figure out how they are going to pay for something they may not even owe.
