William, yes, that's right, i've been using that google sms directory for a while. This is exactly my point re trying to figure out potential revenues for the word registry. Google has had this feature out for a long time, for free, and nobody uses it or knows about it. It might just be a function of limitted advertising; people just don't know they can already do that on their cell phones. Or it might be usability. A word registry function would be more user friendly, and hopefully more useful. But I still don't see brands paying top dollar for a function that google pretty much offers right now that nobody uses. Sorry if that doesn't sound as optimistic as others (and that's the last time i'll apologize for making a point that goes against the grain, because we've got to look at all sides of this story). I think word registry is a great idea, but i think it won't be the massive revenue boon some are expecting. It will be a function that will maybe make a few million bucks from a few major brands, IMO, unless it gets accepted by consumers worldwide.

Still, i do think that google would be nuts not to make some sort of partnership agreement with neom- if the virgin suit is settled in neom's favor. It just makes good business sense for them to want to get in on the word registry as an addition to their sms search. They've got the cash.

best
