Trials overseas such as PPHM has been doing are in fairly homogeneous populations where the patients are of the same ethnicity for the most part or if not entirely. The population in the USA is anything but homogeneous as we are heterogeneous in our gene pools what with intermarriage across ethnic lines. An FDA approved trial in the USA which is successful will bear greater weight than one in India or Georgia. Those locations are good up to Phase IIs but the real test will come with a Phase III in the USA. Until then PPHM won't get the recognition we crave but those and Investigator Sponsored trials do serve to keep interest going.
