Yes and no sirhaggus,

Have invested in two stocks (both highly speculative) in the last couple of years that have had a lot of drama, but different types. From my perspective - neither of them has dragged out this long - but then again I have only been here a bit over 2 years now so I don't have quite the same perspective as some of you-all do regarding how long this has taken.

One of these stocks paid off well enough (GGP) - the other has its issues still ongoing (WAMUQ / WAMUK).

However, both of these stocks were running through somewhat contested Chapter 11 Bankruptcies. Both cases I bought in after stock prices crashed. One has emerged with equity shareholders largely intact and was highly profitible for me. One is lurching its way through the court systems now and could still crash & burn.

Anytime litigation is going on (be it BK or what we have here) and lawyers are involved there is going to be drama.
