Yeah I was think thinking that as well! lol! But while I think Scott Coker is a pretty smart guy, who has contributed to some degree as well as noting I agree with him in principal that the market is wide open with tons of opportunity based on an understood formula for success, the formula essentially wasn't his in first place.
Proelite had done all the ground work, yes maybe a slightly too aggressive growth plan lead later on by the wrong people. But it is my belief that Proelite were the premier players in the game, I like how Coker talks about the Frank Shamrock and Cung Le fight that event was lead by Proelite under EliteXC Brand with Strikeforce as the secondary partner in that and other events, The ShowTime Contract were Proelite's and I would argue the majority of top Fighters came from Proelite with Gina Caranio, Cris Cyborg, Robbie Lawler, Scott Smith, Paul Daley, Brett Rogers, Rafael Cavalcante, Nick Diaz and to Antonio Silva as well as people like Frank Shamrock and Herschel Walker just to name a few. IMO.
Proelite can and will do it again in my opinion! Not only can it be recreated it will be Proelite once again to recreate it Bigger and Better.
