Hello Kenndall,

Thank you for your email and your support in Canyon Copper Corp.

It's always great to hear from our Investors.

As to your questions:

1)Financing: we are very close to closing our Non-Brokered financing (I have heard internally that we are pushing for this week). The Brokered financing will be closed soon afterwards. Next week (Monda-Thursday) our Chairman, Anthony Harvey & President, Ben Ainsworth, are presenting to a number of our large investor and investor groups to finalize their participation in the financing. When they return from their trip we will be close to closing the Brokered Financing.

2) TSX Listing. Once the Brokered Financing has been completed we will be advised from the TSX as to our commencement date for trading. Which should be almost immediate.

3) Core Samples. We currently have approximately 3,500M / 11,500 ft of drill core from our drill program in 2005 that will be sent to the lab very soon for analysis. Plus we will be commencing a very aggressive drill program. We are hoping to have 3-5 drills on site turning as soon as possible.

4) pre-feasibility: After our spring/summer drill program & our past drill core has been fully assessed we will be looking to upgrade our resource calculation on the property. After that we will be moving towards a Pre-Feasibility study... We will be trying to fast track all opportunities in regards to moving Canyon Copper towards a producing company.

5) Start production.............. good question! There are too many factors that have to be taken into consideration for me to accurately make a judgment like that.

Thank you for your support and please don't hesitate to contact me with any further questions, comments or concerns you may have.

Thank you,

Robert Meister
