I give no promise to gen 2/3. I am confident in the capability of mass producing gen 1, b/c not only have the scientists say it can be done, but we see spools of silk and know that some transgenics were in 7th+ generation as of the press conference. So it is obvious to me there is no change that would need to be made to go commercial for gen 1. I don't see an issue with future transgenics with stronger and more flexible threads either, but sure, you can say until we see it go through multiple generations and cocoons unraveled the same, that it is not a guarantee.

The science is beyond complex no doubt.
