Wrong again Juggy. The producers doomed the movie from the start by releasing the movie in Canada first, thus cannibalizing it's potential success in the US because of the gray market loopholes within NAFTA that allowed DVD's to flood the US market though a variety of cross border online sales organizations.

Eric walked away from it because the producers wanted to sacrifice the lucrative US market for their own foolish pride by having the film released in their home country of Canada first.

Don't kid your self about this being a huge success for the new distributors moving forward. It won't be. Anyone who has wanted to see this movie in the US already has.
