The way I see the stock action is that there are a number of people who hear things and a few of them have been kind of enough to share with us. As we get closer to some news I would expect price and volume to increase which it has. One unscientific method I use to see if the company is getting more interest is to watch the followers mark on this thread. We have been around 25 for a while so we are not seeing a lot of new investors. This makes sense because I don't think the guy running the company is out promoting and he will probably be more effective with the latest drilling results to pass around. The bottom line that attracted me to this company originally was this statemant:

"Like the real estate truism, location, location, location," added Mr. Dupont. "If you're going to look for elephants, you go to elephant country. There are significant mines there and I believe there is a potential to find similarly significant mines in the future."

This interview was from the end of February.

Explor Resources (TSX-V: EXS) Exploring for Gold and Base Metals in the Abitibi region of Ontario's Timmins Gold Camp

February 25, 2011

By Dr. Allen Alper and Aaron Hoos

Chris Dupont President and CEO of Explor Resources Inc. at the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference

Sometimes, a mining company's success is based entirely on luck – by being in the right place at exactly the right time. But for other companies, a successful project is based on something more substantial – like a historical record of high-grade deposits in an area that has a rich history of high-grade discoveries.

That is the situation that Explor Resources Inc. (TSX-V: EXS) finds itself in. Explor Resources Inc. is a junior mining company with projects in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt (AGB) which is found in both Ontario and Quebec. The AGB has produced more than 180 million ounces of gold to date and 450 million tons of base metal ore. Explor has decided to focus on the ABG because of the potential to find a major deposit in the AGB.

Recently, Explor Resources Inc. President and CEO, Chris Dupont was at the Cambridge House's Vancouver Resource Investment Conference and we caught up with him there to learn more about the exciting developments and opportunities that Explor is pursuing. "We're hunting elephants in elephant country and the Abitibi Greenstone Belt is elephant country," said Mr. Dupont.

We started by asking him to give us a quick overview of the properties they have, specifically where they are focusing their efforts. Mr. Dupont replied: "We're continuing to evaluate properties expand our portfolio if the property is deemed an excellent property. Right now we're concentrating our efforts on our Timmins Porcupine West property. The Timmins Porcupine West project is in the Timmins Mining Camp an area that has produced over 65 million ounces to date. The lakeshore Mine is located to our southwest and we're the second largest landholder in what is call the West Timmins mining camp with over 3000 hectares of ground."

Then we spoke briefly about the history of the property. "Explor Resources acquired the Timmins Porcupine West property in 2009," said Mr. Dupont. "The ownership history went through several majors, including Dome, Teck and Cameco. Over 30,000 meters of diamond drilling were completed in the past with over 140 diamond drill holes completed. We assembled all of the data and put it into a 3D Gemcom model and from that model we determined where we were going to do more drilling. Then we completed another 30,000 meters of drilling to prove out our model."

Porcupine West property

And the result of that extensive drilling is exciting. "Today we've proven a strike length of 1975 meters, open on strike to the east and west, and open at depth," Mr. Dupont said. "Today we're concentrating on drilling for high grade; now that we've proven that we have a good, solid model. Some of the highlights from the 30,000 meters of diamond drilling we've done include the following results: 30 grams per tonne over 4 meters; 5 grams per tonne over 11 meters; 9 grams per tonne over 11 meters (Including 23.69 g/tonne over 4.10 meters); and 8 grams per tonne over 5 meters." Most amateur investors won't recognize those numbers but experienced industry investors will realize the same thing that Mr. Dupont concludes: "That's really is potential for a high grade elephant size deposit here.”

Along with that highlight project, Explor has several other projects that are exciting right now: They have five projects in Quebec, including projects in the Quebec side gold-rich Abitibi Greenstone Belt. And, they have six projects in Ontario, including the Timmins Porcupine West project, mentioned earlier.

We didn't have time to go into detail about all of their projects, but Mr. Dupont briefly updated us on a couple of Explor's projects: "Our Eastford Lake project is still ongoing. We're still working on defining and fine tuning the model. And we're still working on our PG-101 project a gold project in the Matheson Ontario which is contiguous to Saint Andrew’s Goldfields (the Holt McDermott and the Holloway Mine.)

We're also drilling a base metal prospect this winter at Kidd Creek. We acquired significant claims of about 1.5 kilometers west of the Kidd Creek mine. We're on a five year plan in the Kidd Creek area where we believe there exist another sulphide deposit possibly as big as the Kidd Creek Mine. We are extremely excited about our upcoming drilling program on our 100% owned Kidd Township Property. It is common knowledge that VMS (Volcanic Massive Sulfide) deposits tend to cluster in districts (or camps) and locally within districts. The average massive sulphide camp in Canada has about 9 deposits, but ranges from 4 (Manitouwage) to 21(Noranda)., however an individual deposit may consist of a number of closely associated lenses ranging from several thousand to several million tons. The largest deposits in this group may be in excess of 100 million tons (example: Kidd Creek, Bathurst No.12)”

A series of untested VTEM anomalies have been observed on the property. The newly acquired property is approximately 0,5 km to the west of the Chance (Zn-Pb-Ag) deposit and to the west of Kidd Creek Deposit We have some significant targets there. The newly acquired claims may be on the same synvolcanic collapsed structure as the Kidd Mine and the Chance Deposit. Some of the EM targets occur along magnetic boundaries suggestive of a rhyolite/basalt contacts. We believe there is a another major sulphide deposit in the area and we'll be drilling there within two weeks. [In all], we have 25,000 hectares in the Abitibi region."

In Summary:

• Focused exploration strategy in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt in Ontario and Québec

• Timmins Porcupine West Drilling Program

– 30,000 m drilling completed, Model Confirmed

– 30.6 g/tonne over 4.0 m

– 9.22 g/tonne over 11.0 m

– 5.38 g/tonne over 11.3 m

• Eastford Lake Gold Discovery

– Lynx Gold Zone 16.6g/t over 12.0 m

• Excellent land positions in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt

• Properties in close proximity to existing mines and other known deposits

• Kidd Creek Base Metal Exploration Program Started

• Strong, experienced management team

• Further strategic land acquisitions under investigation

Next, we briefly talked about Explor Resources as a company, for the benefit of investors who are not familiar with them. Mr. Dupont summarized: "Explor Resources is a junior company. We generally do equity financing so we have no debt. Our share price is around 58 cents and our market capitalization is around $76 million. The 52 week high is $1.61 and 52 week low is $0.19."

Last, we asked Mr. Dupont why investors might find Explor Resources to be an exciting investment. He gave us three great reasons: "One of the main reasons is the quality of the properties that we have. We spent significant time and effort researching the properties before we put them into the company." Indeed, they do have some significant projects, particularly that high grade Timmins Porcupine West project. "Like the real estate truism, location, location, location," added Mr. Dupont. "If you're going to look for elephants, you go to elephant country. There are significant mines there and I believe there is a potential to find similarly significant mines in the future."

"Another reason why investors will find us interesting is our focus on gold exploration projects," said Mr. Dupont. "The model shows that the Timmins Porcupine West Project could produce 20 to 30 million ounces."

But any savvy mining investor will tell you that projects don't mine themselves. Mr. Dupont pointed out that one of the key reasons that investors would find Explor Resources an interesting investment is because of its people: "The quality of the people we have working for us. Most of our staff have 20 to 30 years of experience in the Abitibi region and are very well qualified."

For investors who want to invest in small companies with strategically placed projects, Explor Resources is ideally situated! They're hunting elephants in elephant country. The Alper’s have purchased Explor Resources’ stock.
