At some future point marketing will drop "cides" from the name altogether. "Cides" accurately describes the technology but has negative connotations, ie. pesticide, suicide, infantcide , and genocide. The end product will have a friendlier name tied to the benefits of an NNVC drug, not to the process or mechanism as it is now.
