Yes,you do have to pay to insure the shipment, but I can assure you that Fedex does handle all PMs along with many other valuables that people ship worldwide nowadays.....I think this may be how they become such a huge company,the rates are not cheap and there are many other carriers that are also huge operators in that same line....wish I could have got a bite of that 30 years ago..lol...
