Reading the recent news reports of problems with the aluminum skin on Boeing 737 jetliners, though, brings up the intriguing possibility that the Kryron, being an aluminum alloy as it is, would be perhaps the solution to the "metal fatigue" problem that plagues aluminum in aerocraft applications.

A market for Kryron for aeroliners would certainly be much larger than any armour market imaginable.

If the Kryron could be mass-produced in sufficient quantities for an affordable price, competitive with aluminum alone, and didn't suffer the "metal fatigue" problem of aluminum alone, the market would be huge, and insatiable.
