Altaire: I have been interested in that display as a TV and wondered how good it was. I saw something about it on CNBC a long time back (from an electronics show) and put one in my saved basket on Amazon ever since.

I have a Sony plasma on the bedroom wall, that I love but was thinking of getting some flat panel for the living room eventually and the prices are so much better on the LCDs than the plasmas.

I heard there was a problem viewing LCDs at an angle. Have you found that an issue and what would you think of the quality of it for an HDTV -- I gather with an HD cable box that's all that's needed to have it work as HD?

This is the first time anyone mentioned using one as a computer display. I'm interested in any comments you have about it, on the computer as well. Not as good as Apple's, but how much not as good? :)
