Interesting theory.

The number of shares bought on the way up exceeds the number of shares sold, so unless these flippers have figured out a way to sell at the ask and not put downward pressure on a run up I don;t see you explanation as being consistent with the available data.

Or, there was a small amount of flippers piggybacking on a large acquisition by a person or persons that are still holding.
