If that doesn't scream scam, then I don't know what does. Medical thermal imaging is a common tool to raise money for scams.

The king of the thermal imaging scams was Computerized Thermal Imaging, back in the 90's. Iran Contra guy, General Richard Secord raised a ton of money to support his lifestyle before being busted by the feds.
