When I was in retail, we always discontinued styles.
DA is not discontinuing the style or product. He is selling different ones at Discontinued pricing. This is a sales pitch folks. DA makes a good move with that as now when someone searches, maybe there iten is not on special, but they will see something else.
I for one have to give him Cudos on this advertising and sales method. It's like running teaser prices to get people into the store. Then to have them buy other things that are not on sale.
