RE; Fritzee, Scanning Mystery, days ago etc

Yes it can be a little tricky but once you get used to it you will find it quite easy.

There are basically two ways you can do it.
1) Use the "Starting days ago box" above the scan expression. This works if you want the whole scan to be run X days ago.
2) Insert " X Days ago" in front of each individual scan section. This works better when only certain sections of the scan are to be evaluated X days ago.

Note these are trading days ago, not calender days and its based on US trading days. For other countries like Canada the holidays may be different and you will have to adjust the time frame manually.

Also note I added a narrow price bracket for the BB width scan to make it easy to evaluate that the scan was returning the desired results of BB width for previous 10 days to be less than 10% of the stock price from 40 days ago. IE basically a $10 stock price so I can quickly scan to see if all BB widths were less than $1. I also set up a temporary chart setting showing only the time period and indicators in question, just for a quick evaluation, just remove that section later.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction.
