Got a response to my question "How long does that $605 bottle of spray last you?" - regarding Sativex & GW Pharma.

for $605 you get 3 vials x 90 sprays per vial. they tell you to use up to 12 sprays a day! total usage from 3 vials is 23 days at a standard dose, they say to increase if needed too. you have to be a millionair to be able to use it all the time! no as i stated above ... i have it but i cant use it!

Meanwhile, in San Francisco, an ounce of top shelf can be had for under $250: http://thegreencross.org/v4/category/medical-cannabis/

That is a delivery service. Slightly better pricing can be found in some of the 28 dispensaries.

An ounce of top shelf will last about as long as the Sativex.

Some very seriously ill patients require as much as 4 ounces per month, the average is about 2 ounces per month. Irv Rosenfeld receives 11 ounces per month from the federal government.

BTW, I'm told prices in Colorado are about the same as San Francisco, except the bud is much lower quality as the taxes, licenses, fees, and regulations have driven all "the real talent" (horticulturists) back into the black market - Colorado requires the dispensaries to grow at least 70% of what they distribute.
