XXX: State of the Union CD is protected with mediamax. I picked up a copy today, nice mediamx features: since it is a compliation of many artists, there are little ads promoting the upcoming CD releases for the artists on the disc....a nice feature.

Another interesting thing is that I also picked up a copy of Velvet Revolver dual disc, which is not protected (audio side) with any copy protection. It is interesting that the CD cover also states that "the audio side of this disc does not conform to CD specifications and therefore, not all DVD and CD players will play the audio side of the disc". I really don't know what to make of this? Any thoughts.
