The real question is who will provide funds to a company with huge accumulated losses, majority owned by a husband and wife, with negative working capital?
With the money to manufacture, it's a huge gamble since they have no independently verified or reviewed prototype, no patents and not much beyond PRs, hopes and goals. Without the money to manufacture, IMHO, it's just a vehicle to keep two people employed with the occasional unpaid or stock paid assistant who leaves after a short period of time.
I don't think it's necessary for skeptics to waste their time and money attending the conference. Either the independent press will be there to objectively look at GOSY's technology, or we can assume there's nothing worth seeing. Surely GOSY's MBA leadership has recognized the importance of the press and getting stories about their incredible advances out to the public and will ensure that major media are all represented. At the very least, magazines like Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, and Wired will certainly be interested as they have articles virtually every issue about robots.
