It real simple, if there is more buying interest than selling interest the price goes up.

hmmm, yes this is what is taught in basic economics. in a fair market this happens. however, in reality, buying interest is one aspect, along with market makers, who control the price.

PRs mean nothing when there are insiders/financiers dumping into them.

That fact is most of the trading is just matching customers orders.

the fact is that market makers execute the orders, thus giving them control. very rarely do orders magically match up, especially on the pinks.

please don't try to scare people with your negativity. this is the real world, not a hypothetical dream world that for some reason they teach in school. sorry if you lost money, good luck getting some 7's.
