#1 job of a mm is to inject liquidty (shorting)
#2 they need to make money too, hence the spread
if a mm cant find a buyer (up tix)
then he will find a seller (down tix)
as long as the market responds, he has done his job.
this put,s him in a place of power, and as we all now power can be abused. just a fact of life.
