That is my concern as well. But if they work early and before it gets to hot, then they should be able to. If we stop and think for a moment! The Fruit and vegetables seem to do well in the heat. Working protected should be fine in the heat.

I would think the average temp from June-Sept would be about 110 degrees. But when you are in direct sunlight, it is a lot hotter.

But people do work out there in the heat. Just something that you get used to. The place does not fold up and go away during the summer. In fact, most of the fruit stands thrive during the summer there. And the stuff tastes so much better coming right from the farm as compared to a store.
