I had no expectations of a "party" for EVCA. The word I got was that one or more representatives from EVCA would be there on Saturday to deliver brochures, "banners" and talk about some type of "trucks" as well as other vehicles.
I was also informed that Dezer already has a couple of NEW Wheego's in stock, however I do NOT know which building they are in.
My understanding was that ONE of their buildings, (apparently they are right next to each other) was not open to the general public YET, however I could be mistaken on that point.
I was also informed that Dezer will have exclusive rights as an EVCARCO dealer, for the area, however I am not sure exactly how big "the area" is, such as southern Florida, all of Florida or the southeastern part of the country.
So, basically, I guess the information you received is simular to "some" of the information I received. Basically EVCA reps are "supposed" to be in FL on Saturday to meet with Dezer reps, deliver brochures and what ever else.
Your news also confirms what I got from my sources, stating there is no dealership ready to open the doors YET. It is all in still in the process of being set up and they are waiting on delivery of additional vehicles.
What I can not get out of the back of my mind is the publicity that Dezer will have WHEN they have the grand opening for their dealership and the attention this will bring to EVCA.
I also can not help but wonder about all the filthy rich people that love cars and are involved with this dealership and the people behind it.
In my opinion, EVCA stumbled into a golden nest egg and while it is pure speculation on my part, I would not be surprised, (very pleasantly) to discover that Dezer either offers EVCA a loan, want to buy part of the company or helps connect them to some major financing.
This "could" be the reason EVCA did NOT go to that one show in TX where financial investors were made available and again just speculation, but could also be at least "Part" of the reason for the Attorneys, accountants and quiet period.
Just my thoughts but I FEEL and THINK this will turn out a whole lot bigger then simply some everyday schmuck opening a small dealership.
