Dogfather,

I did some research last night on your OKME, I like he technology. Could be a long-term play like ABEW. But the biggest benefitor might be U.S. Dept of Energy when it's becoming the reality.

The difference between ABEW and OKME is OKME needs to fuel more capital in the future when their prototyping is done. A lot of more capital is needed to build plants and begin mass production. ABEW doesn't need capital to build plants, ABEW is operating like MSFT, big profit margin and little outlays.

OKME doesn't have patents of its own, they licensed (non-exclusive) it from Oak Ridge, five other companies have also licensed the same technology, a few other companies such as CYMBET (http://www.cymbet.com/company_overview.php) have gone further than OKME, CYMBET have already started to market their product to semiconductor companies and RFID companies. The good thing is, OMKE is the only public traded company in the five companies licensed the technology, all other companies are private companies, in this sense, OKME is sort of like ABTG in PLC sector.

The market potential for this battery can be huge. The company is targeting the $100 mil diagnostic wafers market first. The biggest market maybe in the field of sensors. As you might know, ABEW is targeting the ZigBee sensors market. The sensors market is a multi-billion market. ABEW has also signed a contract with a Chinese company in Harbin to provide the same battery technology to their ZigBee sensors.

Tartec Corp did a market research on the potential for Lithium thin-film battery market. You might want to get a report from them: http://www.tarateccorp.com/liththinfilmtxt.html

Good luck!
