Nope... the reason people associate reverse splits with negativity is because of what happens in penny stock land. Most of the company's dilute and reverse split their stock till there is nothing left for the shareholder/bagholder, and you basically have to flush your money down the drain. I know because it's happened to me more than once... But unlike most of these bogus company's in pennyland Citigroup is a real, profitable company that makes billions and is on it's way to being one of the largest global financial institutions in the world. What's the banks real value, i'm not sure, but i'm holding for the long run and i'm sure in a couple of years time my shares will be worth at least double of what they are today. Reverse splits can be healthy and this is one of the cases in which it will do the stock more good than bad.
