UTA - I mean, its only the full year earnings, who cares? Wait, is it a holiday? They shouldnt be bothered on a holiday. Oh no, it is just management of small cap China company being incompetent again.
But seriously, this is getting a bit ridiculous and I think some people are too quickly forgetting the problems that have occurred recently and getting too complacent. There is more to come. Eventually this space will be great to invest in, but that time is not now. Just today we got UTA and their crap and TSTC's crap. Dont forget, CCME's crap recently. These are or were some of the favorites of many and supposed to be at the top of the class, but they are all showing that they do not give a crap, have poor management, or just flat out fraudulent, and maybe all of the above.
I have been positive over the last year, part of it being, I was new to the space, management of these companies did a good job of disguising, great valuations, and poor arguments from bashers/hitpieces, but things have become more clear. Mostly because of the CCME debacle as it was a nice slap in the face of the realization of what is happening. Now, even though I have done poorly in many of my investments over the last year trying to go long some of these names, I have learned a lot and have come across some very intelligent investors. So, it has actually been a great learning experience that is going to continue to make me a better investor going forward. Starting to invest in these companies a year ago completely threw me off my game and got to where I didnt abide to my own rules and strategies. I tried to turn myself into a longterm investor because of the "incredible deals" and the fact that they had to reach better valuations. There is a lot of clearing out to do and for now I will invest long term in stocks like AAPL and AGNC and do the rest trading this space and others such as AGQ. Good luck.
