To me it makes sense to run w/ and focus on what is currently closest to bringing in the $$$$$. Sure the patents, & other irons in the fire are not in the forefront right now but, that does not mean they are dead.

ie: In the yearly Christmas letter a family sends to all highlighted is your kids/familys greatest accomplishments, most interesting things and not the secondary life events, that are moving along but not quite as remarkable.
