Why did DATELINE refuse to air their story on the financial terrorists?

a good post by bill19336 from Sterling"s board. Link below.

First of all, I consider the attack upon the American investor to be a form of "electronic terrorism" being perpetrated by "white collar gangsters". It is a direct attack upon the American way of life and has destroyed over 7,000 companies. I cannot help but wonder if among the wreckage there exists a worthy company that could have held the cure for a common disease. Unfortunately, we'll never know because the greed and avarice of a few killed off the good with the bad. At the very least the manipulators have made it more difficult to raise money in the capital markets, thus, stifling innovation and creativity. This has hurt the American competitive advantage and directly impacted our economy in a negative way. The manipulators seem to be doing the "dirty work" for those who would like to see the United States toppled from it's position of an "economic super-power".

That being said, (((what bombshells))) could the Dateline expose contain?

1) Former Under Secretary of Commerce Robert Shapiro has reportedly told Dateline that the Illegal Shorting and stock manipulation has attributed to a loss to investors of "$500 Billion to $1 Trillion". This figure is dated and you can add substantially to the quoted amount.

2) Recently, individuals convicted of securities fraud have reportedly informed Dateline of the mechanisms to the stock manipulation including the bribing of US Brokers via the use of pre-paid credit cards as well as the Bribing of Regulatory Officials empowered to protect the Investors. The above mentioned convictions have also led to the first cracks in the manipulator's previously impenetrable "wall of silence".

3) Dateline has reportedly spoken to "Players" who have identified the Banking locations (Bahamas, Bermuda, etc?) where Offshore Hedge Funds are being used as the tool to manipulate the securities. Major US Firms are Investors in the Funds seeking quick and easy profits.

4) Dateline has reportedly been provided evidence of the 5 major US Organized Crime families being implicated in this securities fraud scandal as well as links to Terrorism leading into Saudi Arabia among other locations.

5) Dateline has reportedly spoken to ex-executives of the Depository Trust who have explained in great detail the operations of the DTCC and how that operation is helping in this fraud. The DTCC hides the level of illegal trades (settlement failures) that are the means to the stock manipulation.

6) A series of related events have also led to fertile ground for research, specifically, the newly created Berlin exchange has left electronic paper trails of evidence.

By the way, I personally spoke with someone at the Dateline office hours before the "official cancellation" was made public and her shaky voice betrayed her spoken words (she weakly and hesitantly told me ""the program was still on the schedule to be aired""). I could literally sense the disappointment in her voice and it seemed obvious that the cancellation orders had already come down from a higher up. Additionally, I know of a reliable source who has had numerous and productive conversations with the producer of the story and we both agree that she is nothing more than a pawn in a huge game of monopoly. Sadly, I am beginning to doubt whether the network will ever have the courage to air the story. Remember how CBS (60 Minutes) bowed to the pressure from the tobacco companies and cancelled a hard hitting piece of "investigative journalism" aimed squarely at the tobacco industry?

The one ray of hope I see is that if CMKX has the goods, then this will be the first time the manipulators are facing...

-a well-funded opponent (cash from asset sales to partners).
-a well-represented opponent (legally speaking).
-a well-backed opponent (big money insiders).
-a well-supported opponent (loyal shareholders).
-a company that may have the proof to back up it's "valuation" and "trading" (NSS) claims.
-a determined opponent that may not have resorted to dilution in order to pay daily expenses. -a regulatory environment more conducive to the need for reform than ever before (SHO, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.).
-a media that has been placed on "ALERT" (Dateline, Traders, etc.).
-a political establishment aware of the problem (email campaigns to the Congress and Senate as well a the recent Congressional hearing).
-a highly energized constituency (those attending the hearing may bring needed media coverage to our cause).

In closing, I am convinced that we need to take on the manipulators here and now. Admittedly, the deck is stacked against us and it will be a long hard fight with a yet to be determined end result. However, the bigger issue is now the need to expose the "bilking of the American investor".

Good Luck and it's all speculation.
