I understood what you were saying, and strongly disagree with you. Overall, I believe the pilots in the USAF and the Navy are superior to those to be found in the French Air Force. That does not mean that there are not some French pilots that are equal to ours -- there probably are. But overall, I believe ours are superior due to their superior training and equipment.

Also, there is no way to deny the technical superiority in our aircraft, command and control abilities, radar, and other equipment -- not to mention our ability to project total air dominance any where in the world on short notice is unmatched by any other nation.

Because of all of this, I suspect that our kill ratio would be higher than the French against any other quality air force on earth.

I do not believe the French (or anyone else) would want to get into an air war with the United States. If it ever came down to it, the French would not fare very well at all in an air war with us.
