SNWT NEWS:San West & CountyImports.com Launch New Product to Combat Rising Fuel Prices

Friday March 25, 2011, 4:10 pm
SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - 03/25/11) - San West Inc. (OTC.BB:SNWT - News) an emerging leader in the off-road vehicle (ORV) industry, operator of the industry leading ORV portal, www.CountyImports.com, and Buggy World retailers, is excited to announce the launch of a variety of new product offerings designed to combat rising fuel prices throughout the United States.

Currently, a perfect storm of factors are aligning to drive growth in San West's online segment to unprecedented heights: Surging fuel prices and improving customer purchasing trends with regard to off-road vehicles (ORVs) are driving strong demand for the company's continuously evolving product suite, which it is now positioned to fulfill more efficiently than ever before due to its rapidly strengthening market presence and improving internal capabilities.

According to online sources including Gasbuddy.com, the USA average price for one gallon of regular gasoline is now approximately $.40 or 12% higher than at this point during 2008, which represented this best year in CountImports.com history with regard to sales and profitability. Management is excited to note that to date, preliminary un-audited online sales have surpassed 2008 levels and are poised to continue this trend throughout the year.

In response to these developments, San West & CountyImports.com have decided to launch a more robust offering of fuel efficient off-road vehicles (ORVs). In addition to new electric bicycle and electric bicycle kit products, the company intends to launch a new series of motorized scooter products and other ORVs over the next two months that will help solidify its fuel efficient product suite and position the company to optimally capitalize on the trend towards higher gasoline prices. More details on this product releases are expected within the next 30 days.

More on San West's Electric Bike Offering: The company's new electric bicycle offering holds a number of significant advantages over traditional bicycles and gasoline-fueled off-road vehicles (ORVs). Firstly, this innovative product enables the traditional bicycle user to travel further than their normal vehicle and physical attributes would typically permit with more confidence. The option of electric power also provides the rider with an extra boost of energy to help climb steep hills or conquer tough terrain, a must for everyone whose leg strength is not what it once was!

The electric bicycle is also cleaner and more economical than other gas-fueled recreational vehicles and ORVs, requires no license or registration to operate and is not banned from accessing recreational areas like many other motorized vehicles. Compared to motorized scooters, this product benefits greatly from its multi-use functionality, which enables it to be used as both an exercise mechanism (traditional bicycle) that can also be pedaled when battery power supplies run low and as well as motorized vehicle. In addition, the electric bicycle can be operated in areas where motorized scooters and other ORVs are banned.

"The business climate is by far more favorable for our company today than it was back in 2008 and consequentially, sales levels for the first two months of 2011 outpace the corresponding period of any year since our inception. Much like in 2008 -- the best year in corporate history for CountyImports.com -- surging fuel prices are driving consumers to seek out alternative means of transportation and recreation and our product suite is becoming an increasingly popular choice for this demographic. However, on a very positive note, gasoline prices around the country are actually much higher compared to the national average in late March of 2008 and our market positioning and strategic abilities are clearly exponentially stronger now than they were back then," commented San West, Inc. CEO Frank Drechsler.

Mr. Drechsler concluded: "While many other industries tend to flounder as fuel prices rise, ours is rather unique in that it tends to thrive. I feel strongly that this factor, coupled with our continued documented growth warrant increased consideration of our company on behalf of the media and the investment community as a whole and I look forward to updating the public on our future successes as developments transpire."
