NH Site Eval Committee has scheduled a meeting for April 22nd to consider recently proposed changes in organizational structure, consulting/engineering firms being used, wood supplier and total output (from 70 to 75MW).
NH PUC has no set date for decision on PPA. Formal hearings ended back in February and many expect a decision soon. The PUC held a meeting on Wednesday. It lasted a whopping 3 minutes. The next meeting will take place "as needed" according to the "draft" set of minutes available on their web site. The three commissioners obviously make their decisions in advance of these meetings and hold them simply as a "rubber stamp" process and to meet certain required protocol.
You know ... bureaucratic stuff.
The overwhelming majority I speak with seem to think this project will happen ... eventually. Just too much "red tape" and can't happen soon enough for the folks here in northern NH!
Have a great weekend.
P.S. A sales rep I just spoke with said the snow plows were out in Franconia Notch today ... welcome to "spring"!
