Man you said all that needs to be said....

There are clearly some heavy duty forces at work trying to maintain cannabis as an illicit drug with no medicinal value...the pharmaceuticals being probably the biggest force among others such as the fed, police, big alcohol, big oil (there has been some speculation that hemp can be used to create alternative fuel sources), and others....

But clearly, the pharmaceutical companies have much to lose...though my belief is that they have all their ducks in a row to literally take over the entire sector when they feel the time is right. At the moment, due primarily to the fact that weed is still federally prohibited, I believe they are staying by the sidelines due to not wanting to rock the boat with their shareholders....

But once that pendulum of acceptance swings sufficiently far enough in the correct direction, I guarantee they will buy up every and any company involved in the industry and take MMJ to a level we can't currently conceive of!
