That's hard to say there. Refer to what went down today. Look at the chart below, combine that with the Finra data, and the settlement trade(s) after regular trading hours. It's a good study.



Here is the FINRA short sale data. Understand that this data shows a 75% short sale ratio. Repeat, a 75% short sale ratio.

Here is a reference to the T-trades that actually happened hours before. This was a settlement trade only. Again, refer to the short sale data.

The shorted shares(borrowed inventory) were 3,2204,911. The total volume was 4,250,511. Get it? Maybe not, because it is hard to figure out. The question(plural) that arises is....Why there was not enough "shares" to cover a certain purchase(play), by a certain maker..and..Where was the sell off?

I can't figure it out, not sure anyone will know. There could be something else that is here, interesting.
