The French Air Force is just as capable of shooting down an enemy plane as ours, h24.

If you are implying that the French Air Force is just as capable as the US Air Force, that is palpably false, but they do have the ability and the equipment to handle the Libyan Air Force, or what is left of it.

In this case, it appears that the plane in question was a trainer and was destroyed shortly after it landed.
