I have a little story to share

SeeClear and all the rest, thank you all for your kind words. Only one other person knows this story, and thats my investing friend I refer to below.

My mom passed away from cancer on Christmas Day, 2002 after a very long and arduous battle. She never once broke from her personal conviction that this was all in God's grand scheme of things for her life. She was accepting of it, even when it got really really ugly. She just held her head high and smiled that special smile that moms are know for.

After she passed away, I was emotionally spent. My heart was literally broken. I was confused about everything; my life, work, school, investments, etc. I remember one day feeling really depressed, and I got this overwhelming feeling and thought about her saying to me that all I needed was one, one simple investment that made sense to me, and to simplify my life, not to complicate it with unnecessary stuff.

I have a person who I was making investing decissions with back then. I told him about my thoughts and subsequently, we both took a stake in NEOM. We have done nothing but hold or add to it ever since. Needless to say that this person is an easy millionaire today, and I'm right behind the mark. In my heart of hearts, things are only going to continue getting better from here on out.

I really don't know what I'm trying to say here, but I do know for certain that we are all connected somehow. And that maybe that as human beings, when things seem to be at there very worst, we are at our very best. Maybe there is a Higher Power directing things in life, and if I'm open to recieve this direction, then it makes life so much sweeter, even if it doesn't make sense at times. Maybe sharing this gift that has been given me with all of you is really what it's all about.
