unconvinced, your post brings up many good points!

""I do not make my living trading stocks and don't own shares of anything ....I know very little about stocks or trading, but I know what successful businesses do""

You don't trade, and I am not suggesting a new career, but the business logic you post below that statement is light years beyond 99% of what gets posted here. You have good business sense. Stock prices generally follow the earnings stream of a well managed, open, auditable, business, and so your business knowledge WILL help you in investing.

""Common sense would tell you that you need to hire experts in those fields""

Yes yes yes yes!!! Of course, and this for a company that documents itself that is so cash poor that is pays it's employees in stock, not cash like the rest of the world does. How does a company that has little cash afford to have engineers do all that is involved to determines if there are any gas/oil reserves and if they are economically feasible to extract? Where does a company with little cash get the money to supposedly buy back significant amounts of stock? Where is the money coming from to build the greenhouses needed to grow this hydroponic farm? The answers are obvious... to you and me. And NO, no one is going to invest in the offerings the company has ranted about, just like offerings in the past. (Is the prior $14 million offering from July placed??? Silence on that one from Emax, eh?) Want examples of other orphan offerings"

""The company is preparing a 14 million dollar Reg D 506 offering and is planning to submit its final financial documents to the auditors in the next 30 days for review and the completion of their audits. - July 2010

The new "offerings" will end up just like these. Hey does anyone think in the next interview the CEO will be asked about these prior offerings?? wink

""from some land they bought"" I even question that one. If you look at the wording of the PR, they talk about signing a contract to purchase. That DOES NOT necessarily mean they even purchased the land. I have been watching Emax for over a year. I have an eye for these wordings that lead others to ASSUME. I have posted several older PRs with similar wording, and none of those contracts appear to have been executed.

You site the claimed valuations of their music library. Does anyone in their right mind think that if they music library was REALLY worth $120 million, that they couldn't sell it today for $80 million, approx 3 cents a share? Of course that isn't going to happen. The $120 million is a percussionists view of the value of the music, and just like the book value of the stock, she will NEVER detail how the number was "calculated".

Regarding my asking who enticed your family to buy this, I understand and respect your reluctance to answer that publically.

Enough of this, let's get back to "we're going higher, the chart looks good"! It is much easier to say than to discuss the business!!
