Today on HS in the NY market they ran the advertisement around 7am. At about 9:40 HS spoke about Mediamax. I missed the lead in but I think it was just the standard Howard to Robin "What are we talking about - Mediamax?. Here is the rest:
Mediamax CDs, that means you are going to get a whole lot of extras, you can take your CD, put it in your CD player and play it but also you can put it in your computer and watch films, biographies, music videos, games, lyrics to your band, internet links and so much more. There is one thing I've been leaving out about this and that is you can legally burn the album, so its legal to burn the album, ah you know burn copies of the album that you couldn't necessarily do with another CD that doesn't have the Mediamax technology.
Intern: Its illegal to burn CD's.
HS: Right
Intern: Mediamax allows you to burn up to three copies of an album, you know with no legal problems.
HS: Wow
Intern: Yeah, that the one cool feature, that a definate cool feature about them. So like record companies they like it because its legal to burn these and they don't have to worry about people you know all these pirate copies getting out.
HS: Why do record companies like the fact that you are getting three albums for the price of one?
Intern: Well they don't like the fact that you are getting an infinate number of albums for free.
HS: They don't mind giving you three.
Intern:They don't mind, look you want a copy for your car a copy for your office a copy for your house.
HS: I see.
Intern: But thats all they want you know they don't want people sending out tons of pirated copies of albums, so thats what they like about it.
HS: Oh, alright thats a good thing too. I didn't know that. Producers and Artists are going crazy with this technology cause think about it when you buy a CD now its not just music your buying, you can buy their whole creative life.
Intern: This will be everywhere. This will be the next step in music.
HS: Mediamax is a publically traded company by the way, the stock symbol is MMXT. Logon to Mediamaxtechnology.com for more information. Play, move, share.

One thing to note is the fact that HS gives no disclaimer that he is a shareholder which would be required if he was. It looks like these are just paid advertisements which frankly seem to have little or no effect on volume, shareprice or interest in the company.
