A workshop entitled 'Fuel cells and hydrogen within the European Initiative on Smart Cities' will be held in Brussels, Belgium on 13 April 2011.
Hydrogen has potential in such uses as clean energy carrying, fuel cells and as an integral part of efficient power systems. As such, the element also contributes to the three objectives and action areas of the European Initiative on Smart Cities (deploying energy efficiency, renewable energy and low carbon technologies in cities).
This workshop will showcase currently existing fuel cell and hydrogen technology solutions in different cities throughout Europe and the latest developments for buildings, energy networks and transport. It will also be an opportunity to get in touch with stakeholders and innovators in the field.
