There have been several instances in the past, here and at SI and RB, where company employees and even CEO's took an active role in message boards. I agree it increases the potential risk of a violation by posting, but posting in itself is not a violation.
I personally have known 3 individuals who started out as mere investors in different penny stocks but whom moved into a paid positions after years of getting to know the operation and many of the other longterm shareholders. So it obviously does happen more often then one would expect, as this is the 4th time i have seen it.
If you have been around here (ihub) for any length of time you may remember Gary Swancey -GaBARD , and remember his stint as IR with MIDL. Suffice to say it didnt work out, but many of the long term members can tell you the story.
