JRC Global Products Rivets Crowds at the IBS in NY, Establishing a Stronghold in the Multi-Million Dollar Hair Industry; Highly Anticipated Best of Breed Product Unveiled to Eager Salon Professionals

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y., Apr 21, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Jackson Rivers Company (JRIV, Trade) announced today that its subsidiary, JRC Global Products, dba Raphael Basante Hair Systems (RBHS -- www.raphaelbasante.com), made its debut appearance April 17 through 19, exhibiting at the International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, N.Y.
On display, and demonstrated, were the Company's breakthrough hair extension and replacement systems and products, Visions, where the client's existing hair is pulled through openings in the center of the base of the extension or hair replacement. In addition, the more conventional method, called Vision Tips, was made available, where the hair is glued with a heating device to the clients' existing hair.
"Total positive feedback is what we had anticipated, and it was exactly what we received," said Raphael Basante, President of JRC Global Products. "Increased awareness is our primary goal when attending shows; however, due to the number of requests we received prior to the event to offer the product and 'starter kits' to attendees during training and demonstrations, we also brought in more revenue in the three days of the show than we have to date."
Included in the sales were approximately twenty-five customers, consisting of both males and females, who requested to have extensions applied on stage. Amos Jordan, JRC Global Products' Master Educator and Trainer for the United States, led the Raphael Basante team in both the application of the patented system and the professional styling thereafter. Similar to both Raphael Basante and Darlene Ruiz, Vice President of JRC Global Products, Jordan is also a licensed cosmetologist. Specializing in non-surgical hair replacements and hair extensions, Jordan is recognized amongst the elite stylists in his field, with over twenty-one years of experience. In addition to his accomplishments in the US, Jordan also has practiced as an International Educator for over 15 years.
