Ponz, I hate replying to ANY of your worthless posts, but in this case you finally have made some sense. Yes, it is possible part of the JDA/Sinopec Phase 2 discussion involves this "extra" well that was drilled. When it was drilled back over a year ago, I too thought, "will this drill count towards the Phase 2 requirements?" So why wouldn't Sinopec think the same thing and be discussing this at the negotiating table right now?

However, IMO, the BRUNT of the Phase 2 discussion has to do with releasing the drilling results and how detailed they will be. Also, a MAJOR part of the Phase 2 discussion involves how Total will become part of the JDZ. This possible involvement by Total is VERY, VERY complicated and is probably the main reason why the discussions will take a long time and the MAIN reason why Sinopec is asking for extensions and will probably ask for at least one more.
