mgm cared about nothing other than a potential increase in foot traffic into their casino from that proposed store / celebrity attraction. they wouldn't give a hoot whether anybody made a profit there or not.
And to prove that as true, Scott Sibella (MGM) barely knew who TLK Fusion was. He totally F'ed up their introduction at the press conference. Quite the uncomfortable moment when Tracy Keyser corrected him. She was pissed.
