I think the question was one of contest policy.
If a stock (say CCME) were to remain halted at the end of the contest, what value if any would be given to those holdings?
I can see two possibilities:
option A - the stock is valued at the last trade price (i.e. the price at which it was halted). This is consistent with how any other stock that doesn't trade for whatever reason on the last day of the contest would be valued in the final standings.
option B - value is 0 as the stock could not be sold as of the last day of the contest (I have a little trouble with this, as it implies that all stocks in the contest should be valued at bid price, not last trade price)
Either answer is fine by me.
If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
