It simply means someone has filed a motion for an to abate of dismiss the case which is off calendar.

The key in in the term is "motion for order to abate of dismiss.."

In english - abate: to put an end to something. The term in legalese is someone the wants a motion to stop the dismissal of the case which is off calendar.

In other words, someone is bitching it was placed off calendar.

Question is who filed the motion. Plaintiff or defendant?
