In 2008 Empyrean ceased all substantial operations and existed primarily as a Pink Sheet listed shell company until mid-2010. August 1, 2010 the shell company was taken over by new management which then changed the name, headquarters location, updated the business plan, established financing, and revised the capital structure to reflect its current goals.
