Remember when Neomedia opened up an office in New York City in a PR announcement in January 2010?

Exactly where is Neomedia's office in NYC?

And I couldn't help but notice Google when they opened up their headquarters in NYC in a 2007 announcement.

And explained one of the major reason for opening up a Google place in NYC.

eWeek says that "Google's choice of 76 Ninth Avenue for its headquarters was not an accident. The property sits on a massive fiber-optic network, extremely valuable for a company like Google, which depends on the rapid relay of information."
