And, you can also assume that GM is not footing the bill for them. So far, their rooftop solar has been funded by the solar companies and any government subsidies the solar company can get. They then sell the power to GM at lower than power companies' cost, and the excess, if any, is sold onto the grid. IF this is a money maker, it is a very long time before they will see a profit. If that is how you wish to invest, great....not many people on the pinks do.

The fact that most solar companies never are profitable (including all that this management has tried) needs to also be considered. Of course, the fact that they have GM using their product at least gives them a place to build for quite awhile once they find the people willing to pay for the builds.
