Re: NIJ Cert...OK - so I don't know for SURE if this is true or not, but I heard that the certification has not been received because a member who sits on the Board that issues the cert owns a rival armor plate company and that HE is the reason this has not been issued, and he is the reason they keep requesting more and more information, testing, documentation, etc, etc, from Bourque. I can't imagine Bourque would want to give away the technology, but this sounds plausible to me. Don't shoot the messenger - I don't know if this is TRUE, like I said...but if so, it wouldn't surprise me! If you owned a rival company that was threatened by such an incredible new technology, would you want to allow them free passage thereby allowing your own company to be negatively impacted and possibly destroyed?? Food for thought, I guess.
