you seem to neglect to tell everyone that it costs $35,000 to enter this tournement. and that hundreds of boats will be fishing it.

You know it is public water and Rich's 90 foot choi lee (sp?) will look fantastic in the background.

For those of you who are not familiar with the layout of the fishing grounds in boca grande pass...

It is a wide channel comming in from the gulf to charlotte harbor it is about a mile wide with land on either side. The bottom is extremely rocky with many ledges and a nasty current. the depth runs from about 20' to 80' (awesome fishing conditions). during tarpon season (now) there are hundreds of boats fishing this channel in a drift style. If you have not seen it before you will be truly amazed.

I have worked both at the marina and on a charter boat there in boca grande. and have been involved in about a half a dozen of these tournements. The little place is like an ant farm.
